Job Summary:
Supervises the activities of Manufacturing Plant team to ensure that organizational production expectations are met.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Ensure all operators are adhering to factory policies such as PPE and first part sign offs.
  • Ensuring tooling fixtures and equipment are in order.
  • Help with new employees to receive the proper training and procedures.
  • Work with employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Work on an action plan for the cross-training plan so the Supervisor can keep updated.
  • Ensure quality standards on all parts that are being done.
  • Work with Supervisor and Methods to solve manufacturing issues.
  • Notify Supervisor of all department issues
  • Strive to keep a clean and safe workplace.
  • Administrative duties such as reports, emails and Smartsheet updates.
  • Participate in Training seminars to help the company grow.
  • Maintain Symphony color system on the floor.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees.
